She also won the team bronze medal at the 2002 FEI Dressage Championships of the Americas in Blainville, Quebec. In preparation for the 2003 Pan Am Games, Yvonne and Inatana Las Marismas topped nearly every Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I class they entered in Florida and Kentucky in the winter and spring of 2003. Furthermore, during the European tour of 2004, Yvonne was named the Leading Rider for the Small Tour at the 2004 Sunshine Tour in Spain, after her numerous wins with Inatana during that event.

Rittersport Las Marismas

1991 Westphalian gelding
Royal Angelo x Argwohn

Rittersport is by Royal Angelo, a stallion from the famous dressage dynasty that produced horses such as Rubinstein. Royal Angelo’s dam, Adone, was a full sister of Ahleric and Amon, and was also the dam of Olympic champion Rembrandt. Royal Angelo himself has produced many top horses in Germany, and is well know for the outstanding movement of his progeny. True to this, Rittersport is a very sensitive horse that has excellent gaits. His forte is the passage and piaffe tour, the trot extensions and the canter changes. He has an outstanding debut in the 2004 Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera (Spain) and went on to win the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special at the 2004 CDI*** Ox Ridge (USA).

Bernstein Las Marismas

1996 Licensed Hannoverian stallion, approved Danish studbook
Banditentraum x Winterwald

Bernstein DVH 696 is an eight-year-old chestnut Hannoverian stallion by the Trakehner sire, Banditentraum, and out of a Hannoverian mare by Winterwald. Standing 17hh, he was purchased at the Hannoverian stallion licensing and was presented as a three-year-old at the Danish Warmblood studbook approval, where he received the highest scores ever awarded, including 10’s for confirmation and temperament, as well as 9’s for gaits. At the 2002 Young Horse World Championships held in Verden, Germany, Bernstein placed seventh overall, receiving scores of 8’s and 9’s for his gaits and impression. In 2003, he won every dressage class he entered in Denmark. His offspring are also excelling in their own right, claiming the 2000 and 2002 Grand Champion Foal titles in Denmark. He will debut at the Prix St. Georges/Intermediare I levels in 2005.

Rittersport

Riccione-Rhodos-Remus I

This 17 hand, 4 year old gelding is by Riccione, one of the top descendants of Regazzoni, from the famous German stallion station Gestut St. Ludwig. At the NRW licensing in 2002, Riccione produced his first reserve winning stallion already with his first year of foals. Riccione himself was licensed in 1998 in Verden. In 1995, his sire Regazzoni (by Rubinstein I) was runner-up in the German Championship for Young Riding Horses. Riccione’s dam, the state premium mare Arosa, leads classical dressage blood with the Trakehnen stallion Arogno and the Hanoverian Bolero.
Rittersport was purchased at his breeder in Germany, where he had already done quite well by winning several materiale classes. So far he has proven to be a superb prospect, with the outstanding movement and temperament that promises a brilliant future at the highest levels.

In a recent clinic with former FEI Dressage Chair Eric Lette, Dondolo received scores of 9 for his walk, 9 for the canter and 9.5 for his trot. Lette also noted the horse’s impressive quality and his outstanding potential for the Grand Prix.
